Car driving training can start after the candidate becomes 18 years old.
Furthermore there is no other constrain regarding the candidate’s age.
The amateur driver, should renew his/her driving licence every 15 years(after having the necessary medical examinations) until 65 years old, by the provisions of the new type of diploma. From then on every 3 years, should renew his/her driving licence, if doctor’s allow still to drive.

With the car driving licence you will be able to drive:
Β1 category:
4-wheel:
This category is only granted to holders of a driving license of this category, issued by foreign authorities when exchanging or converting it into Greek.
B category:
Vehicles with a maximum authorized mass not exceeding 3 500 kg, designed and constructed for the carriage of not more than eight (8) passengers plus the driver.
Cars of this category, may be combined with a trailer, with a maximum authorized mass not exceeding 750 kg, provided that the maximum permissible mass of the combination does not exceed 4.250 kg. Driving the combination, in case it exceeds 3 500 kg, it may be licensed under category B, only if it has been granted after a successful skill and behavior test and has the Community code number 96.

- you have a Greek Identity or residence or work permit (valid for at least 185 days)
- 4 passport type photos (4cm x 6cm)

- 50 € (Initial allocation of category 21)
- 30 € (Driver’s license form code 28)
- 18 € (Initial Category Class 61)
- 15 € (Theoretical Examination code 2037)
- 15€ (Qualification and Behavior Test Code 2038)
- Fill the Diploma Print Application
- Fill the Initial Grant Application (M-TAO01)
Total cost of the procedure : 128€ + 20€ for the doctors
For licence extension you should:
- be an ΑΦΜ holder
- 2 passport type photos (4cm x 6cm)
- you have a Greek Identity or residence or work permit (valid for at least 185 days)
- Own a motorcycle driving licence
- Publish & pay the following fees (from e-paravolo):
- 30€ (Driver’s license form code 28)
- 27,02€ (Extension to a different category code 62)
- 15€ (Qualification and Behavior Test Code 2038)
- Fill the Diploma Print Application
- Fill the Request Category extension form(Μ-ΤΑΟ02)

Theory Education
You should have 21 hours of theory classes* on our Theory centre of education for driving licence candidates, to get the necessary knowledge which will ensure your success on your theory examination.
Practical Education
You should have 25 hours of practical classes* with an education car (automatic or manual). You will gain the convenience of handling the car, the knowledge and implementation of highway code. Also, the economic driving and parking procedure (parking) so you can easily pass the practical driving exams.
